This palm can grow up to a height of 1.5m to 2m although it is a very slow grower. The fonds can grow up to 0.9m in length and their natural habitat is under the canopy of dense tropical forests which means they are tolerant of low light conditions and can adapt well to the temperatures typical of indoor environments.

Care and Maintenance
The root ball should be kept evenly moist however, the soil should be allowed to dry between waterings in winter. Feed weekly during the summer growing period and every other week during the winter.
Date Palms are comfortable growing in indoor potting mix.

16-24 degrees celsius. Not below 10 degrees celsius in winter.
