Dendrobium comes from the Greek word meaning "life in a tree." Many species release oxygen at night rather than during the day making them excellent bedroom plants.

Care and Maintenance
Water generously in spring and summer. In winter water just enough to keep the bulbs from shrivelling and do not feed. Mist often especially in summer.
Use commercially prepared orchid mix or decayed oak leaves, Spanish moss or sphagnum moss.

Night: 13 to 18 degrees celsius
